John Calhoun

John joined New South Properties in October 2023 as an Analyst and transitioned into a brokerage role in January 2024. A Charlotte native, he specializes in landlord and tenant representation across the retail, office, and industrial sectors.

Prior to joining New South, John was an Investment Intern with Centerlane Capital, where he conducted asset management analyses for the firm’s commercial real estate portfolio and supported investment strategy through financial analysis and market research. He earned dual degrees in Business and Real Estate from The University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Business in 2023 and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and The Good Fellows Club of Charlotte.

Outside of work, John enjoys playing golf, hunting, fly fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
